Update 1.0.1 - General Fixes
Update 1.0.1 :
Cleaned up some of the background code for my sanity and a bit of improvements since I rushed segments of it.
- Wraiths now reset each time you reset as well, keeping movements a bit more consistent and avoids some softlock potentials.
- Slightly reduced Wraith chase range, it made some segments really tough to pass, now there's a bit more room.
- Removed a few spots where GetNode and console feedback was being spammed every frame, it was only in a couple spots but that sin should never be committed.
- Rebalanced the audio a bit, there actually was jump and tool swap sounds but they're nearly silent.
- Built-in option to disable audio with M.
- Added a help screen viewable by pressing P in case you miss or forget controls.
- Heavily improved the player characters movement and states, this was the biggest concern for myself and problem for others it seems, it works a ton better now.
- Removed excess assets to condense the file size, I had a bunch of working textures and sounds that were in but never used.
- Added a fade-in when the game starts, due to its tiny size I'm just going with no menu handling needed.
- Spirit Block disappears when a decent distance from the player to avoid breaking the camera and confusing players.
A general thanks to those who have played it and provided feedback, this should hopefully iron out issues and leave it in a good place for now. Maybe in the future I'll add more to it, but this was mostly to fix outlying problems and some quality of life improvements.
